Who do you trust on paid sick days: actual small business owners – or corporate business lobbyists?

Compare for yourself what actual small business owners — as opposed to the corporate HR and lobbyist groups — had to say at the Seattle Chamber’s* business forum on paid sick days last night. Many local Seattle businesses have signed on in support of the proposed ordinance – it’s too bad that big business won’t step up for better public health, safer food and healthier workers.

*Update 7/29: The forum was also co-sponsored by the Seattle Coalition for a Healthy Workforce, Greater Seattle Business Association, neighborhood chambers and other community groups.
