Unanimous “yes” on paid sick days from City Council incumbents and challengers at Candidate Survivor

When asked how they would vote on Seattle’s proposed paid sick days ordinance if the vote were held tomorrow,  every single candidate for City Council at Candidate Survivor last night – including all the incumbents – said “yes”. Here’s the photo:

Every City Council candidate - incumbents and challengers alike - lined up on the "yes" side for paid sick days. (Click for larger version)

Now we need to hold them to their word – and keep the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Seattle Association, who oppose paid sick days, from scuttling the whole thing with backroom “death by delay” tactics. Please sign this petition now to tell the City Council to pass a paid sick days ordinance without delay.
